A Puppy in my Purse

“Are you girls ready?” Napster asked his two companions. He still could not believe how smooth the photo shoot went. He likes shooting with natural light and surprisingly enough the weather cooperated. Thus, instead of spending the whole day at Windsor as he had planned, they were done before 12:00 noon and even had time to eat lunch.

Milan wanted to visit Windsor Castle, but as it turned out she wass also the reason why they were returning to London early. Mackenzie Westin is in London for business and wanted to see his daughter.

“Your parents have a private jet?” Imadge asked.

“Time share private jet. There are several other companies that own the plane. And it’s my parents’ company, not my parents themselves who owns the time share,” Milan answered.

“How does it work?”

“Just like normal time share, a company or an individual can use the jet part of the year while all of them share with the maintenance of the jet including the salaries of the pilot and the crew.”

“And, it’s your parents’ turn to use the jet this time?”

“Maybe, but not necessarily. The other ‘owners’ can actually share their time on the jet too. Because all of them travel all the time, if they are going to the same place, as in this case London, the time-share holders can pool their ‘time’ to use the jet. It’s more efficient and more cost effective, especially with the high cost of jet fuel nowadays. Beats traveling on commercial flights especially if they have to work the whole time they are on the air.”

“You’ve traveled that way?”

“Yes, once to Japan. We had a presentation so we spent the airtime role playing and making sure that we pronounce our clients’ names correctly. You can’t do that if you are traveling commercial, even at first class.”

Milan was going to say more when she heard a whining noise from her tote bag. Opening it, a pair of big brown eyes greeted her and a soft pink tongue started licking her index finger.

“Ah guys, did anyone put a puppy in my purse?”
