A Bag to Feed The Children

Traveling all over the world with my parents, not as tourists but as a member of the community that they happened to be living during that time made me see how lucky I am for having the basic needs of food, clothing and shelter provided for. So, a project like the ‘FEED 100 BAG’ caught my attention because it tries to ease world hunger one child at a time.

The second bag by the FEED Projects, with the original FEED 1 bag, the FEED 100 bag was designed solely fore Whole Foods Market by Lauren Bush, a former fashion model, a world activist and co-founder of the FEED Projects.

A reusable bag made of organic cotton and natural burlap, the FEED 100 bag is being sold at all Whole Foods Market locations nationwide for $29.99, wherein $10 of which benefits the United Nation World Food Program’s (WFP) School Feeding Program. The FEED 100 bag will help provide 100 nutritious meals to hungry school age children in Rwanda.

A lightweight, fresh white tote that collapses easily into its base, which is a zippered rectangular burlap pouch emblazoned with the FEED logo and the number 100 makes it easy to remember when heading out to go grocery shopping. And added bonus, using the FEED 100 bag instead of plastic to hold groceries also help the environment.
