Beauty might be in the eyes of the beholder but the make up artist is the one who makes your face perfect. Direct from the pre-show red carpet arrivals to backstage at the Grammy’s, The Makeup Show NYC presents the ultimate beauty makeover from today’s top celebrity makeup artists.

Makeup artists Joanna Schlip, Sandy Linter, Kate Best, Sharon Gault, Jake Bailey, Molly R. Stern, Eve Pearl, David Goforth, Cheryl Gushue, James Vincent, Orlando Santiago, Marietta Carter Narcisse, Jon Hennessey, Alison Rafaelle, AJ Crimson, Kevin James Bennett, Linda Mason, Sarah Lucero, Johnny Lavoy, and more, will be part of the third annual The Makeup Show NYC.

Slated May 18 – 19, 2008, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily at The Metropolitan Pavilion, these well-known make-up artists will take the stage in various keynote presentations, individual hands-on workshops and/or seminars, touching upon beauty techniques and applications, skin tones and makeup products, tools of the trade and the business of the beauty industry.

An intimate show with a real sense of community and artistic energy, The Makeup Show NYC brings a pro-driven legion of beauty professionals to the fashion and entertainment capital of the world. From editorial forces to mass-market phenomenon, insider-only tips will be traded between the best in the business over this two-day intensive event.

Makeup artist Sandy Linter will open The Makeup Show NYC with a keynote presentation spanning 3 decades of her Career in Makeup. From swan to duckling, Making Up With Kate Best will speak about her work with America Ferrera in the hit TV show Ugly Betty, and vixen Wilhelmina Slater, played by Vanessa Williams.

Meanwhile, P&G Beauty will present CoverGirl celebrity artist Molly R. Stern and MAX Factor celebrity artist, Jake Bailey for Artist to Artist. Finally, the beloved Sharon Gault, muse to David LaChapelle, will also speak of her career in makeup.
