Connecting to the Internet via your Shoes

Maxwell Smart would have loved Verb for Shoe. Instead of just being a telephone, the shoe also connects to the internet via wireless; communicates with other shoes to exchange contact information and it automatically adjust comfort according to the wearer’s movements. And at $700 a pair, you truly feel you are buying a wearable computer.

Commenting on the launch of this revolutionary shoe, Ronald Demon, a pioneer in the field of computerized footwear and creator of Verb For Shoe, said “We are not just selling some high tech gadget, but are providing an entire experience which includes technology.”

According to Demon, Verb for Shoe is unique in that for the first time, a computerized shoe appeals to both mainstream fashion audience as well as techies. So, what does the experience provide?

Aside from the signature styling and craftsmanship that is expected for any high end fashion product, Verb for Shoe also offers interactive music videos, a blog that chronicles the Verb for Shoe phenomena and an online forum, plus you get to meet its creator Ron Demon, virtually of course via Ron’s Studio.

The shoe has been on both MTV’s Real World and MTV2, and will be on the History Channel in the fall.

Sounds good… but, why do I need to read my blog on my shoes! Did Maxwell Smart really outsmarted us all?
